On July 20, 2021, the "2021 World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference (WICV 2021)" press conference was held in Beijing. The press conference also held the press release of the first national intelligent driving test competition and the launching ceremony of the Beijing competition division. The competition will hold preliminaries and regional competitions across the country from June to August this year. In September, the final will be held during the 2021 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference and will be awarded with bonuses and honor certificates. The Beijing competition, one of the sub-competitions, has been set for August 5-8 and will be held at the Shunyi Base of the National Smart Car and Smart Transportation (Beijing-Hebei) Demonstration Zone.
