On the morning of June 23, the launch ceremony of the First National Intelligent Driving Test-Competition (NIDC)  (Jiangsu Division) was grandly held on Nanjing Lishui Intelligent Connected Vehicles Test and Demonstration Road.

Zhou Weidong, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Sub-Council, Wu Yin, Head of the Equipment Division of the Nanjing Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Xia Yun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Lishui District Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone, Zhai Xiaoli, Director of the Management Committee of Lishui Economic Development Zone, Zhang Jian, Director of the Electronics Research Institute of Tsinghua University Suzhou Automotive Research Institute, Hua Guodong, President of Jiangsu Zhixing Future Automobile Research Institute Co., Ltd., Jiang Chao, Founder of Beijing Beishun Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd. and other leaders and guests, FAW Jiefang, Kaiwo Automobile were presented at the Openning Ceremony.  It attracted also more than 20 participating teams including automobile companies, technology companies, universities and scientific research teams such as Southeast University, and more than 30 media reporters. 

After the starting ceremony, the first National Intelligent Driving Test Competition (Jiangsu Division) officially kicked off. Intelligent driving elites from all walks of life competed on the same field, demonstrating the cutting-edge achievements of intelligent technology to industry experts, the media and the public.

Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Transport, and China Association for Science and Technology, the 2021 World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference (WICV)  will be held in Beijing from September 25th to 28th. As an important supporting event of the conference, the First National Intelligent Driving Test-competition(NIDC)  was officially launched in May 2021. Preliminaries and regional competitions will be held nationwide from June to August. In September, the finals will be held and honors will be awarded during the 2021 World Intelligent Connected Automobile Conference. As an important competition area of the competition, the Jiangsu Division took the lead of the event. The next stop will be held in Beijing's Shunyi District on Aug 05-08.
