As the largest professional exhibition of new energy vehicles, internationalization has always been the direction of IEEVChina's efforts. Since the founding of the event, the proportion of international visitors has continued to increase year by year. Following the overseas visitors from more than 40 countries visited the exhibition in 2018, overseas guests and international visitors from more than 50 countries including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, Mexico, India, Lithuania, Pakistan, Ukraine, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates visited the exhibition this year. The number of international visitors exceeded 6,000.

In order to further broaden the channels for overseas promotion of the exhibition, promote the internationalization and professionalization of the exhibition, and achieve resource leadership and cooperation, and effectively advance the preparations for the 2020 exhibition, the organizing committee specially invited more than 80 diplomats from 42 countries in China, along with representatives of industry associations and heads of trade institutions attended the Road Show for IEEVChina2020. After the meeting, the guests visited the exhibition and experienced autonomous driving technology.
